Special Cheese Omelette with Oregano

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp butter
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (totally optional,)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped tomato
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk well.
  2. Add the milk, salt, black pepper, half of the oregano, onions, tomatoes, capsicum, and coriander. Mix everything together.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and melt the butter.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and let it cook without stirring for about 1–2 minutes.
  5. When the top is still slightly soft, sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over one half.
  6. Add the remaining oregano and chili flakes on top of the cheese.
  7. Fold the omelette in half and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the cheese melts.
  8. Slide onto a plate and garnish with a little extra oregano and freshly ground black pepper.

Tell me how it was! :)

⚠️ WARNING!!! ⚠️

Everyone, non-stick utensils have a coating which is carcinogenic (cancer causing)... A single scratch on the coating releases a huge number of carcinogenic particles which enter the body and may eventually lead to cancer... hence please avoid to use utensils with non-stick coating...

You can use an aluminium pan instead... Or maybe one made of cast iron is the best to use.

Thank you for your attention.
