What's your most recent achievement?
I went to for a day/night in the city with a friend when all I wanted to do was isolate, sleep all day, feel bad and sink into my depression and pity party.
@blissedNblessed - That must have been a challenge to get yourself to do, but good for you for pushing yourself not to isolate!
@Anomalia
hugs. thank you
Getting spinal injections so I can hopefully return to work. Losing my apartment because I am in financial crisis thanks to my worthless
POS short term disability insurance company that is refusing to approve my claim. So much for Thanksgiving and my Birthday.
FU Cigna 🖕🤬🖕!!! ESAD!!!!
Going to the funeral of my client , staying there, being extroverted, reaching out and offering support to her family, sharing heart warming stories I have with her, watching her family grieve while remaning okay, grieving for my own mother's death, staying healthy with all this death stuff and not running away from the funeral - even though that feels safer.
Things are not going good. There is a lot of pressure on me right all. Literally every aspect of my life is falling apart. Right now, all i am trying to do is keep my mind free and strong so that i dont self harm too much or try to take my life.
I realized, with the help of my therapist/reiki healer - where my self hate stemmed from and what keeps it going.
Today, energetically and emotionally, I let go of the self - hatred.
this , i think, is one of my Greatest Achievments yet :D
@blissedNblessed - That's an ENORMOUS victory and I am so thrilled to hear it!

@Anomalia
hugs hugs hugs
thank you so much
i Still am not self hating....though I DO have to work on changing behaviors and patterns to shift it to this new identity.
also, huge one: boundaries!
i realized that a big source of my disociation/dysphoria is casued by my hair and can hopefully get it cut tommorrow.
I know in the scheme of things it's really not a big deal, but I had my longest run the other day. Not my longest, but my longest in a very long time. I've run marathons, but over the past few years I've let myself go. I've been trying to get back into a routine recently. So that 4 mile run the other day made me feel pretty good.
so, its been a LONG road of healing and recovery for me.
And I FINALLY REALIZED HOW FAR I HAVE COME!
My most recent achievement was sitting in a meeting as part of a treatment team for my client.
Not that I was in the meetng nor that I was part of the treatment team or even that I have a client.
It was that I had this moment of realization:
at one point in my life - a long one - over many years - i WAS THAT CLIENT. Not the treatment team.
Now, after years of constant working so hard on my health and healing and actions and reactions.....I have come to a place where I help others do this .
I do not have a treatment team: I am the treatment team for those in need.
THAT WAS SUCH AN INTENSE, AMAZING, EXPIRIENCE.
