Yes, by mistake. Here it is a federal offense, so you could go to jail or pay a massive fine for doing so. I assume the mailman will do his job correctly so I never look at the envelope, I just rip into it. After realizing my mistake I taped it back together and put it back in the outgoing (shared) mailbox to be redelivered.
