*Before anyone thinks I've gone off my rocker, my wife tells me that only brown sauce is allowed with sausages and only ketchup with bacon; 'Them's the rules'. It's apparently common in England. I've never heard of it. Which one of us is potty? Bonus point for answering this.

Yes. If the universe is infinite it's difficult nay impossible to believe we are alone. Not as in funny green men with laser guns though.
