I wanna discuss..Once I'm done drawing something, I feel satisfied. But then, after a while, I realized how weird it looked.

Has anyone here experienced this before? At first, you love your art so much, but as time goes on, it looks weird, not as cute as you first saw it? Or maybe it's something that you made, like a doll, or any handmade crafts, don't have to be a drawing.

When I noticed these flaws of my old drawing, I feel like I'm going to improve but not sure though. Let's discuss about this ☕ BVQ9Wyzg.gif

There's an idea that we always have to improve, always to do better. It leads to the unfortunate notion that we are never good enough. And it leads us to apply that thinking to the things that we do. And thus we become our worst critics. I know because I'm a pro at it.

I believe that the first thought "this is good!" is the right one. The one that happens before the doubt. Of course there is always room for improvement. But that doesn't mean its not good as it is.

Trust yourself. Believe in yourself. It's not easy, but you deserve to be your own best supporter.
