Sun Dog 07-21-23
Today was backing up some pictures and videos that I have been neglecting. I found these during the process. Is this really called a Sun Dog? I don't know. My dad called it that. I tried to search for it on google, but I got different results that made it sound like it might be or might not be.

What i've always heard called a sundog is when the sun has bright spots beside it that look like smaller suns.
I haven't heard these rainbows called that, but either way, it's a very cool thing.

I wonder if people use the word for different things in different parts of the country, or if it just has multiple meanings
