A Fox's Venting Burrow
I wanted to make this space for me to be able to vent or rant about stuff, because I usually feel better after getting stuff out rather than have it kept inside my head on repeat. Some might be rude stuff because I'm human and things can bother me, I don't want to be mean to anyone directly but I feel it's better to let it out in a safe space than keep it eating me up inside.
I don't mind replies
Yet another reminder of how much I hate otherkin, especially otherkin "DID" ""alters"". (even WORSE when it's a """tulpa"""). You're not a fricking angel/demon/vampire/fairy/nonhuman 😒 You're an embarrassing teenager. Who spreads their stupidity to other gullible teens, like an annoying circle-jerk of stupidity.
All these therapists diagnosing these teens with "DID" and encouraging naming alters, encouraging the idea that they're "different people" etc, should lose their licence. They should not be allowed to practice
Yet another day of an annoying teen thinking they have DID and just spewing tons of media-made misinformation, probably just watched too much youtube and tumblr with their impressionable mind 😂 it's sad that more they're just going to spend their life thinking they have a disorder that they don't actually have just because they spend too much time online.... well, I hope they grow up anyways
Ew why is the DID community so automatically rude? Like...just called someone "disgusting" for not defining things the exact same way they do?? Ewww
I miss you so much....I feel like I'm constantly just wasting my life and that I'm going nowhere. I want to be with you, I want to move on...I want something to change. Because right now everything feels so pointless and hopeless
I don't know why I hate teens so much....their obnoxious stupidity makes me so angry for some reason!! I wish I could shake them and tell them how stupid and embarrassing and wrong they are!
This is exactly why when I had to take that dumb implicit bias test and it said I favoured young people and had a negative bias towards older people, I wrote in my reflection that I thought the test wasn't accurate, and because of that just QUESTIONING on online test I got a poor grade....excuse me for knowing my biases and it sure isn't towards older people
It's actually a bit funny that someone would call me hateful, and apparently a few randos agreeing, because if you knew me in person or even just on my listening account, you would know I'm probably the least hateful person on the planet. The only thing I really "hate" is myself. I know that the teens on here aren't bad people or any of the groups I vent about, I know they're not harming anyone and we're all going through our own things. I would defend them in a heartbeat if they were being attacked directly. But this is a venting space, all humans have emotions and for me, getting to rant about them without having to be considerate of all the nuance that I know is there helps me get frustration out of my head, stop it from ruminating and turning into an anxiety attack. So I sound a lot more harsh than I ever feel, because it's just safe venting. Not hate in the slightest, even when my vent talks about "hating". Sad that some people just see things on the surface and don't care to understand any deeper than that
I wonder how many nonbinary teens are actually just cisgender but have been told that any slight deviation from expected gender roles, or any little discomfort with their body, or any disconnect with their gender/ body means they're not trans.... how many kids are being told very very normal parts of puberty are signs of being trans.... kind of makes me sad.
I wish I could universally block all instances of certain words/topics across all online platforms. My life would probably be a lot less stressful if I never had to encounter these things that make me feel so upset, just never have them even show up online for me anywhere... ignore their existence... that would be nice. Especially block me from directly looking it up and stressing myself out, "oh sorry no search results". Too bad it wouldn't work everywhere, like on here or other platforms where I usually encounter it -_-
@FoxPrince On a computer I think you can get a browser extension that blocks certain words across all websites, although I haven't tried it myself. I don't imagine there's any way to do the same in mobile apps.
Charlie
@RarelyCharlie I've heard of those before but haven't tried it out...I'm unsure if it just blocks the word itself or actual pages that contain the word...such as, let's say I'm on the new forum threads page here, I doubt it would be able to make just the forum posts that have that topic (at least in the title) not appear at all but not mess up the page as a whole...maybe that exists but I'd have to see :P couldn't hurt to just see what's out there I guess, people can be pretty nifty with solutions they create
I hate how she doesn't seem to know how to read emails...she replies to old ones that aren't relevant anymore and acts like I just sent them, making me feel like I'm annoying and rude....just read the date of the email please, I sent that a week ago before your update email...I promise I'm not being annoying that was just an old email that you never read! :(
