Accidental Peace

Yesterday I was supposed to meet up with my brother somewhere but he was running super late so I decided just to drive as straight as the rode I was on could take me eventually it took me to this little trail/pond that I had never seen or heard about before. Ive lived in the same city for over 15 years and I thought I knew all about it, clearly, I was wrong. This was a good surprise, yesterday was a good day-ya I wasn't exactly 'happy' but I think I have given up on the idea that I need to be happy all the time, as long as I am content, not going through an attack or not on edge I'm ok with that. I think happiness is just not actually possible where I am both mentally and physically.

Anyways, I live in a parity big city so finding a trail that is not on or near a hill was something I didn't exist and it was also in a part of town that was more country then city. It was refreshing and I found my piece there. I needed to find it, I was having a good day but I still had bumps in the rode, things still stressed me out and I had started to question some things so just being able to be in a place of peace was something I didn't know I needed. I have made the conscious decision to go there more often, nearly no one was there so I'm assuming the rest of the people don't know about it.

I was wondering yesterday and today if this sense of peace is just a phase or realization that one day, soon, I will get out of and go back down a spiral. Hopefully not.

Anyways I'm dyslexic and typically I'm more conscious of grammatical error but it seems that when I'm writing about myself/my feelings, I miss some mistakes so sorry if you find any.
