Feeling Angry or Grumpy? Share your frustrations!! Let it out!
Always angry at myself.
I really hate the people from my school, specially my math and english teacher, I can't take them anymore. ahhhhhhhhhhhh
I had a nightmare about someone that i know hurting me but when i woke up i could not remember who wanted to hurt me
I'm very angry that people don't view mental stability as something that should be taken care of. I recently left my job because I struggle with sadness and anxiety a lot and I was told to get my responsibilities in order. I guess I just value my mental health more than money...?
I'm angry and frustrated with myself for starting to feel jealous of my wife and her best friend. I'm not sure why I'm feeling like this and why the relationship they have is bothering me
My dad is being a jerk to me lately and I have no idea why because I have done nothing to provoke him or did/say anything that would make it justified. If I did so unknowningly, he hasn't said anything about it.
I'm trying not to let it get to me but it's like every time I feel calm, he feels the need to bring me back down. At this rate, I am seriously considering leaving my own house if it means not giving into his desire to make me snap and get into an argument over nothing just so he some sort of gratification out of making me feel like crap.
Don't let the sun go down in your anger.
@Laura My mom is either ignorant or in denial of how bad my mental health is. She'll say things like "you haven't enjoyed anything in two years" which I haven't (for some reason I'm completely unable to enjoy anything, even things I used to love), but then she'll say it's because I'm spoiled. She also says I'm lazy for not wanting to leave the house, but in reality I don't go out because I'm terrified of leaving the house. She went to college for psychology but she refuses to listen to me when I say I think there's something wrong with me. Last year I had suicidal thoughts for the first 3-4 months of school and she didn't even notice anything was wrong. But when I asked to see a psychiatrist, she said that I was "just fine mentally" and that I just wanted to get a diagnosis for sympathy and to lower people's expectations. I can't get help on my own but she refuses to let me get help. I feel trapped and I'm constantly scared, I had two panic attacks today, and it feels like I'm losing control. If this school year goes the same way that last year did, I don't know if I'll make it to 2017.
@Basilstorm I'm so sorry to hear you go through all this. I hope you're able to find more resources that can help you pull through the tougher times. Know that what you feel is extremely valid and real and that despite one person's lack of support, you're doing good for yourself just by being here in a community with other strugglers. It'll be hard to get through but we can help you when you need it, you are capable and strong and have people here who will be there for you for all the good and bad.
@bamfpikachu Thanks for the response. I just had a really rough day yesterday and it felt like my mom was ignoring any distress I was in. I'm not sure if she's doing it on purpose or if she just hasn't put everything together yet. She constantly brings up things that I do that aren't exactly normal, but then dismisses them. I don't have time to see the psychologist at my school because my mom made me take all honors classes and drop my lunch period. I'm hoping things are better than they were last year. I promised one of my friends that I'd get help if I had suicidal thoughts again, so if it gets really bad I'll probably ask my mom again, and maybe she'll have changed her mind about me seeing a psychologist.
@Basilstorm yeah for sure. I wish I was in a place where I could help you figure out where your mom's coming from, sounds like a lot of diffculty on both ends. I'm in search for some more online resources myself, so if you'd like to work together on finding something that'll work better with your schedule I'd love to help! I'm really glad to hear you have a friend who's willing to help you through it. And it's good that you're still willing to talk to your mom regardless of her dismissiveness; it'll continue to be frustrating but maybe the persistence is what you both need. Good luck with your studying, by the way - there are a lot of simple mindfulness techniques here to help keep your stress levels low if it all gets too much for you. Keeping your head up is a huge step forward.
I hate it when my family doesn't trust me or believe me. And when people don't listen to me. I also hate it when I have insomnia and nightmares from events that occurred to me in the past.
My mom alway tells me to stop showing my emotions, well only negative ones like sadness, anger, or fear.
