Mittens and some normalcy
Today was nicer than most others, I got to stay home and did get to see a doctor which set my mind at ease even if I do have to wait for monday for the results it is certainly better than doing this without knowing when or how I will receive help. After the doctors visit I stayed home and remained in my room as I used to before all of this, it is actually my first time being alone for an extended period of time and I haven't had any overwhelming anxiety. I was well enough to even read a bit and play my games which felt nice, and reminded me of the comfort I used to get back when things were normal.
I say normal but apart of my worry is that I'll never be the same, that I wont be able to snap back to whats "normal" after a simple surgery. Instead I will forever be changed and scarred, looking back into how things once were, I know with time I will eventually adjust but will I do so fully?
It's uncertainty that I never really liked but at least things are looking a bit better through this rollercoaster of ups and downs. At least Im ending today off peacefully with a nice read and in my fluffy jacket.
Take care, stay warm, and have a nice time - Mittens 3/28/2025

That's good, yahh fluffy jackets/hoodies are great!
@7Bear7
They are! I love to sleep in a blue one that is way too big for me but just so nice
@mittens8774
Ahhhhhh, jelly! I have a super worn out zip up but it isn't comfortable to sleep in, everything else tho, perfect!
@7Bear7
It could always be an extra blanket :3
@mittens8774
Hmmmmmm, dats smart! :3
@7Bear7
I do it sometimes whenever I dont wanna sleep in it, I'll lay it over the blanket and stay warm when it gets so cold here
@mittens8774
Super smart, might do that, but I also got a weighted blanky for that too? Hmmmmm, what is a Bear too do?

@7Bear7
Hey can we continue our conversation here? I can only see one letter per line now😭😭😂😂😭😭
@7Bear7
Lol sure, there are a lot of replies.
Honestly I enjoy the peace and feeling of being in that moment without a worry about time or other life things but just surviving and enjoying the time :3
@mittens8774
It's definitely a nice feeling, I also just like the beautiful sites. Nature is so pretty.
@7Bear7
It is! It does get rough out there sometimes but I kinda enjoy that as well, like a soggy sleeping bag and slogging through mud isnt nice in the moment but feels more rewarding to look back to
@mittens8774
I get that, looking back on what you went through especially with friends/family can be a great feeling. You like hammocks?
@7Bear7
I love hammocks! Although I have only really been in one on a trip and there aren't many around but I do want one :3
@mittens8774
Yahh I like em enough I slept in one for a year or two straight, my dad set one up in my old room, and after seven years we finally set it up for my new room!!!
