Poetry ramblings

I'm not good at exactly saying how I feel. So most of the time I use poetry because it just.. Speaks better than I do. Let me know if it resonates with any of you, too. I would also love to read any poetry you've got!

This emptiness and lack of emotion

It makes me feel like I'm walking poison

Like in every step I'm pulling everyone deeper

Farther into my own pit of dispair

Where I swore only I would suffer there

Like this tornado of nothingness can stop me

As if these waves of almost thought could sooth me

My friend my dearest downer

I would do anything to make the voices quieter

To make my own self louder

To see what I really have to offer

Yet these chains are welded shut

My brain is the chackles, my heart the cuff

I scream as I may but it's never enough

One depression has you, she never lets up

And now youre stuck

The bedsheets are an ocean to escape from

The shower is the beach you never reach on time

Forget the worries

Forget anything

Think about nothing but how bad it seems your getting

But play the facade, its all a dance

With a little grace they'll never give you a second glance

You'll parade around as if nothing has gone wrong

Even though your demons are surviving through your skeleton

Making the motions, making you seem alive

When honestly?

Ive never been more dead inside

I'm sorry you're hurting. Writing a poem in response to your poem:

i feel how it is as poison
to infect all that are touched
and wish to retreat
that none else shall suffer

"i shall isolate myself
and let this all only reside in me
so that others are not harmed
by this impenetrable disease"

the facade as described:
let me pretend to be well
that none will worry
and none will pry

there is nothing they could help
and they would only be plagued
if they were kind and caring
and wished to intervene

"i shall help you!"
the naive one cries out--
and with some cynicism
i invite the well-meaning to their doom

you shall find me a problem
as you thought it simple
but the layers bend endless
and the thoughts compound infinite

"this is beyond my expertise"
indeed it were better
had you not volunteered
or if i had not agreed to be helped

i destroy the bright-eyed
and the happy ones
become full of equal pain
as i sicken the healthy in contagion

i shall not depend on others
who can be of little assistance,
yielding not to vague and unrealistic hopes
that others will withstand the barrage

if i am unwell
let me at least not hurt others
or so i wish:
please let me not pain anyone

therefore, it makes sense
to hide what cannot be cured
and conceal every possible hint
that anything is amiss

let others live happily
let it all rest within myself
and the world shall pass onwards
without a care for the unseen

***

And then a 2nd poem in response to the 1st:

i imagine saint therese
sad and soft
in frail white clothes
and angelic ghostly shade

she reads my words
and she bows reverent
and says the following
whispering while prostrate

"my child
you are beauty
plaguing itself
with its own words

if it is pain
please rest
i wish not
for you to suffer

if the words
wish not to come
as they are agony
then let them recede

and merely sleep
lay gentle
upon me
and let me hold you

i am on your breath
the wordless air
that plagues not
and has no pain

i am in your throat
and in the tears
that leak from eyes
as your softness emerges

whatever is
shall find use
your poison
shall be restored

by this sadness
you will touch
and appreciate
others who are sad

you shall feel with them
and be kind
and not strike them merciless
as the untainted might do

those who suffer soft
are unable to hurt others
as they feel all wounds
and cease creating them

may your poison
be a blessing
and if what i say is wrong
may you trust yourself in discarding it"

I loved it, i like to write poems also, them help me express and understand. He is my.most recent in the style of a rap 😊

PERCIEVED

Percieving what we believe in is decieving and has no meaning as life's mistreating dishes out this beating leaving us bleeding but we cant see it if we close our minds and we cant think about this when we're blind, so walk away and you will find, a freind here waiting for a sign!

So take your time and organise whats on your mind and you'll find you're not really behind, so relax your eyes and realize you're fine, just the way you are. And you can reach for the stars, put cream on the scars, and healing transpires. The delusional parts only confuse our goals and corrupt our souls leaving us with a heart full of holes. Set goals now and your mind will see what closed eyes has failed to believe, don't let sight deceive keeping us on our knees; throwing logic into the breeze. Winds at your back excited, Winds of hope reignited me. Step by step confide so we can share secrets of life thinking "what could be" If we let it, if you hold back you'll regret it.

There, Now I've gone and said it!

We hold ourselves down; Dirty on the ground I've found myself tourmented and bound by invisibility. I've ignorged all possibility, so I must set myself free of a self-inflicted confined mystery that causes so much mind-bending mysery.
