The other day not too long ago me, Wize, and North discussed making an inspirational card for Calm. Finally pinned the down the image to use and have some time to edit things and get things in order! Woo! I made the canvas around it bigger so you can add a phrase or text with what you want to say to her. <3
And don't worry, I can easily adjust the size of the canvas if need be. Also, if you want to just add text, post below and I can throw it up there for you. If you want to write something by hand and scan it in, it may take a bit more time for me to put it up there. Post the link in this thread and I'll give it a go for you. ...beware, my skills aren't so great with MS Paint. XD

ok, If I want to dar or write up something personal and scan it..... how can I go about doing that?! I seem to be completely illiterate with this computer stuff but I know you are up on it Cal! I still haven't been able to figure out how to directly get photos from Imgur to show up on here even though I Click on the

😂 It took me months to figure that out either.... Sonin this window where youninsert your picture link there's on the left side width and length written, you can just type in new numbers, try 300 or 400, it's pixels I guess... And that little padlock next to width has to be closed to keep the original aspect...

I had no idea that you could edit photo size on here like North said! Usually, I use percentages in an offline editor before I upload it somewhere. Might give it a try next time. Phones take huge @$$ pics. Got an app specifically for resizing stuff which works well, too. Very simple! Look forward to seeing more pics from you in your diary. <3

Hey Cal 😊 I thought we could perhaps put what we want to say on the card in those little thinking bubbles and perhaps colour them in different colours... don't know if you all like that idea... And I have to think of sth to write, hm, I'll think about it 😊 thank you so much for starting this

I could do that. I might have to work with an image editor, but I could always upload it somewhere that specializes in speech bubbles. I'm all like lol dat scope creep. And remember, you don't have to write a text wall! Simple is best. ...I say that, but WTFF do I write? XD

Yeah. I don't do graphic stuff, usually. Irfanview, for use in viewing stuff. I do have GIMP laying around, though. Remember, programmer doesn't equal graphic designer, usually. But if you're front-end then it's certainly a thing. Which, I can do that kind of stuff. But... lemme repeat- I'm not artistically inclined with that kinda thing. ....which is funny because I'm a certified UI designer. lol

Oh yeah, sorry, Irfanview is a viewer, the name could have been a hint 😂 yeah, I know, backend, frontend, sorry, youndon't have to do anything artsy, that's perfectly ok, we just put some nice words on it, she'll love it anyway 😊

Oh yeah, and I used to use Pixia. A Japanese alternative to Photoshop awhile back ago. ...AGREED! I'll make sure to reserve a special area of blockquote with her name on it! XP

I am pretty sure you can do all this stuff Cal 😊 definitely better than any of us... And like I said, the words count and Calm for sure will love it, no matter with what program it's put together... Trust yourself, calling you our computer expert was a compliment, no offense *hugs*

Am putting the card together. Oooh. West hasn't been around. She's pretty busy! It's lookin' okay so far. Decided to use colored text instead of the bubbles simply because I had a total derpcall while putting it together. XD One of those days where questions marks are flyin' outta my skull.

LOL Ok I still don't really know exactly what this card is but I had thid project I had started working on in art therapy that I thought would be perfect for Calm. I finished it and modified it for her..... so here it is !
@purpleWest8143 umm it looks kind of small and I don't know if she'll be able to read anyhting on it but I also don't know what you can actually use on the card you are making depending on size so here is a bigger size and if you can't use anything Cal just let me know

The image for the card thing is above. It's this dorky drawing someone made of animals hugging. Had the idea you contribute text to it and speech bubbles are put to the animals with our phrases. But this lovely project of yours needs air time, damn it! It's perfect. Would love to see some more of your artwork. I mean, if you wanna throw out a quote real quick you can easily AND the poster! Gonna put stuff together and post everything today in her thread. Will def let you and the peeps here know when I do.

. Don't worry about the poster. I can put it up on Calm's wall another time to not take away from the card. I'll sit and ponder something to contribute for text for a moment.....
