If you're interested in the ramblings of a middle-aged man with chronic conditions who, at times, sees things a little too clearly for his own good, then read on.
Sometimes I get political, but it won't be all the time.
I don't mind comments in general but if you're going to differ with what I write, that's fine--as long as you can explain your position clearly & reasonably. Rants, shouting & general incoherence will be ignored or flagged, depending on the situation. Try to remember that not everyone else in this world holds your beliefs.
Every so often I may post art or snapshots of projects I'm working on.
If you're still interested after reading all the above, great. (I do wonder at how much time you have on your hands, though)
Am not in a Thanksgiving mood because a little while ago I had a vicious stomachache, & now my head hurts.

Thinking about what I've been trying to do every so often, lately (nothing to do with my land)...except for last night, thus far it has been without result. 🤔 Maybe I have to go about this more intelligently...
I've never used T1kT0k. Never needed to. There are plenty of YT videos reposting &/or commenting on T1kT0k trends.
If you ever need fuel for misanthropy, either T1kT0k or YouRube has more than enough. On those platforms you can see human nature at its most unpolished--& honest.

At some point I always return to the brute fact of mortality...not just mine--everyone's. (Since 2014 I've been death-obsessed at times) And for everything else. One day the Earth will be burned up when the Sun goes red giant. One day--by then there won't be days or nights anymore--the solar system will reach the end of its lifespan. At some point in the very far future the Stelliferous Era will be finished & no more stars will form from gas & dust & space debris, etc...
Then I think, as I usually do, that it would've been better for everyone concerned if the universe had never existed to begin with.

I don't call myself an "efilist" as I'm not heavy into it & find most labels quite limiting...however I definitely sympathize with it. Efilism is related to, & the logical extension of, antinatalism (a more well-known philosophy). The inevitable Wiki article is here.

@Amanda84 Efilism & antinatalism are rare exceptions to my usual practice of ignoring all modern philosophies... I maintain that since the emergence of poststructuralism ("po-mo") in France after WW2, philosophy in general--or at least in the secular West--has slid downhill & is unworthy of serious attention.
My post in the Disability forum is starting to get attention & replies now...
Guess it's not too surprising. Surely I am not the first chronic person to utter such observations, since so many of us crippled folk have the same problem.
