Don’t cling to a mistake💔 just because you spent a long time⏳making it.”
Have you ever stayed in something — a job, a relationship, a belief — long after it stopped feeling right? Not because you still believed in it, but because you had already invested so much time? Years of effort. Tears. Hope. And walking away felt like admitting all of it was wasted. 😞

I’ve been there. I’ve clung to a mistake like a tired swimmer holding onto a rock, thinking: “But I’ve come this far…” And the truth is, letting go is terrifying. Because if you let go, you have to face the emptiness. You have to grieve the time you can never get back. 🕯️
But here’s what I’ve learned — and I want to share this with you gently: staying longer doesn’t earn back what you lost. It only costs you more. The five years you already gave? They’re gone. But the next five years? Those are still yours to choose. 🌅
You are not a machine that has to keep running on a broken path. You are a human being, allowed to change your mind. Allowed to say: “I was wrong for me back then, and I’m different now.” That’s not shameful. That’s growth. 🌱
So if you’re holding onto something today that feels more like a weight than a home… please hear this: you can let go. Not because the past didn’t matter, but because you matter more. Your future self is already thanking you. 💜

This is amazingly captured. Letting go over holding on. Although painful, is the only way to move forward. Thank you for sharing.

@bomnaz yup. It's good to leave the bus at nearest station. when you know , you had chosen the wrong one... and it's not about the trains and station

this is so true I hope all that NEED to see this really reads it and lets it sink into their lives.
I think that's what economists refer to as "sunk cost fallacy". Basically, after investing so much money in a project you're reluctant to give it up because you're worried you will lose all the money you've already invested. The reality is you've already lost that money.
You need to look at the situation without consideration for how you got there. Decide what's necessary to get from where you are this very moment to where you want to be and act on that.
