Used Against Me
Hello everyone! I used to have diary that would put EVERYTHING into it. I had it before I met my current partner and trusted him enough not to thoroughly hide it. One day he went through it and saw my old entries about my ex and other situations before I met him. He was livid and insecure about my older entries.
I felt violated and lonely, the diary was my escape. On top of that I was living with him and his parents at the time and was only 18. I ended up having a breakdown and tore it to pieces. Since that night, I’ve never written again.

your trust was violated .... He should not have read your diary and Anything that happens before you started a relationship or in the past ....... is over / none of his business and history that him being upset or mad about is irrelevant as you can not change anything.
if you want to journal or diary again there are electronic apps than may be more secure then a actual diary.
