ice storm 2025 trigger warning
we use to snow storms have them a lot. but we not have ice storms normally. this year we just had a very very bad one. was without power for almost 7 days and no internet for 9 days. going to share a few photos that we download from 9 and 10 news. area we live in got hit the worst too. believe no lives taken and as far as we know no one got hurt. but not sure as we not watch TV too. there more photos here https://www.9and10news.com/2025/03/31/2025-ice-storm-photo-gallery/

sorry some sideways but still can tell how bad it was. we still jumpy and even our cat is she was so scared she was glued to us. we stayed in apartment with no heat for the 6 days. northern Michigan still getting snow so was very cold too. we to keep warm was under 6 blankets. we could not cook so eat what we found that needed to not be cooked. had no human connected most the 6 days too. as did not know when power would come on so did not use cell phone unless had too.

thank you right now one day it be old but next warm so bouncing a lot. so that also affects the pain i have in body. we ok if it cooler or warmer but when it bounces then it affect us al lot. so yes just want it to be either warm or cold weather not like it been for this last month or so.
yes the ice storm really was scary. but even more so due to something that happened in our childhood related to the abuse. think more then anything the ice storm triggered us and being in dark really freaked us out big time. so we still not ok really. so we kinda feel like running from others. so ya it scared us and triggered us too.

thank you ,we recovering from the mental after mass of the ice storm. finding hidden memories from childhood due to the ice storm too.
we due to abuse and well not being believed by others in family. do not have connected with most of our family. it was only way to get safe sadly. it be 8yrs in may we moved away from family. but we have a few within church we go too that have supported us and had compassion for us too. but they not know much details about our passed. but yes the ice storm was scary for us.
we learned to not take anything for grant as at anytime all or more things will be taken from you. so count ones blessings.
