Accepting feedback is a crucial part of being a good leader.
Think about the most recent feedback you received: How did you react? How did you feel? Why do you think you reacted and feel that way? What would you do differently after having watched the video?
After fulfilling the requirements of this post, please check out the next post here! You must take part in the brainstorming/activities given in all of these posts to successfully complete the program.

I have received a feedback mail from 7 cups that I should not give advice to my members. It was hard for me in the start not to give advice as I was a newbie. When I received it, I felt bad that I couldn't live up to their expectations and I had to improve myself. I saw the form post where I can help my members without giving them advice and that really helped me in learning from my feedback and becoming a better listener.
I also received constructive feedback on how I could post the forum threads in a better way as I had messed up in one. When they told me, I felt bad that I messed that up and I was given a second chance not to repeat it again. I asked them how I could do it better and learned from it.
Asking for advice is something I want to do after watching the video as it can really help improving yourself and there is always scope of improving

Seeing. Feedback as way to grow is always number one.

I definitely took my first and only review very badly, as for feedback, I am very disappointed with myself, it knocks me down and makes me feel bad, but I generally log off for a while and come back and read the feedback and restart with a new insight.
Everybody, and I mean everybody, receives feedback, even leaders, managers, CEO's etc, and usually, the feedback given is from someone who knows the answers, we are all human, we are all learning.
If I feel feedback is incorrect, I will absolutely say so and ask for an explanation why their feedback is correct.
1 I do not even remember the last time I was giving feedback but I know how I acted in the past . For good feedback I can handle it well. With bad feedback or gives ideas to get better I do not handle it as well as should.
2 after the feedback I would step back for a bit to wrap my head around it.
I would thank them for feedback and ask how can I improve. I would set a time to check back on how I am doing. Really soon I am going ask for feedback on how doing in l rooms.
I’ve always been very open to feedback, in fact, I embrace it and ask for it if people I work with forget/fail to give me some. One of my day jobs is as a writer and there can never be improvement and growth if I continue to be sensitive to what other people think. We need to understand that our work and the job we do is a part of an ecosystem and that it greatly impacts many other processes. So the feedback isn’t just for you to improve but for you to further help the organisation/community/brand to improve and grow.

The last time I received feedback, it was on an essay I wrote for school. I reacted in a decent way. I felt a bit frustrated about it because the feedback was a bit more constructive than expected. However, it also made me feel proud of my work because I worked hard on it. Differently, I could've been more open to listening to the feedback more to accept it since feedback only helps us improve.
@Heather225 Very true
@Heather225
I enjoyed receiving feedback and regarded it as an opportunity for growth and self improvement

Hello everyone,
#1: I receive lot's of feedback more positive than negative however I think I react to both in a similar way. Of course the positive feedback is much more rewarding but I also like how I can learn & get better from the negative feedback.
#2: I react the way I do to positive feedback because it feels good knowing I am making a positive impact on others. Enjoyment & excitement come to mind with positive feedback. When I get negative feedback I try to understand why they feel that way & work on myself to improve it.
#3: I am not sure if I would react any differently after watching the video but I can always try harder to listen & understand the feedback I receive.

I would react by listening what they are saying which is essential and create a plan to start with visible change. I would feel motivational to me. I reacted and felt that way because i will helps me to balance out my strengths and weakness in the sessions with members so that i dont repeat the same mistake but learn from it by being open minded and understanding the information about my strength and lackings both.
@iStarlight
@Heather225 sorry for the massive post, sorry my draft also got pasted, i apologise for it.

Most Recent Feedback- About not talking about my feelings to people - I felt that the feedback was good and I accept it and that try to express my feelings to those who care.
How did I feel- I wasn’t shocked but I didn’t expect it to bother others.
Why Do I think I reacted and felt the way i did - Because I don’t feel comfortable sharing and most of the time I regret after doing so because my feelings get dismissed.
What would I do differently after watching Video- Nothing really because I learned and accepted what was told to me and would work on getting better.
