Confusion

Im 15 years old and female. 2 years ago I started questioning my sexuality. But at that point it was mostly about who I was attracted to. Ive figured that out but now Im wondering if I might be somewhere on the asexual spectrum. I think Im too young to have sex so I wouldnt want that right now anyways. But Im wondering if in the future I might want to have it. When I think about sex I feel indifferent. Like I might like it but I dont know if I would really enjoy it. (However when I do think about it I would much rather be with a woman.) when Im watching tv and there is a sex scene I feel disgusted, I dont like it, I dont wanna see it.

The thing is that I feel like its just that Im too young because when i think about it its not too bad its just when its on tv I dont like it. I feel like I would be more open to doing it with women but at the same time Im too young to really know because I havent experienced it.

The age in which people actually start feeling intersted in sex and feel sex attraction varies a lot, some people of your age already have that kind of feelings while some develop them later. Some of my classmates at that time didn't even think about sex and later started developing interest and attraction. Maybe giving yourself a little more time before determining your sexuality would be a good idea, it's ok to be neutral about it at a young age!

The fact that you don't like seeing it on tv may simply mean that you see sexuality differently, like something very private that you may enjoy experiencing with the one you love but not seeing it elsewhere... Of course it could also be that you are asexual, and you can identify as such if you want, but I believe that what your body, heart and mind can make you experience as you grow may still surprise you.

Right now, just live your age and do what makes you feel happy. If new desires and wishes will appear, you'll be ready to welcome that side of yourself, if not, you'll finally be sure of your asexual identity.
