Identity crisis
So I’m ace for sure, but romantic attraction is so tricky. I like all the genders the same, but I’m not sure if it’s in a romantic way? I’m not sure what qualifies as romantic in the first place. I’ve reviewed the 1 1/2 crushes I had but I feel like I wanted to be friends more than a relationship. I don’t create future scenarios with relationships in them. Sometimes I think companionship would be nice, but not sure what I want from it yet. Has anyone else gone/ been going through this?

what you're experiencing is completely normal and valid. it sounds like you may or may not be aromantic. i understand how difficult it must be for you to distinguish or understand romantic attraction.
being an aro doesn't have to mean a solid definition. it's a spectrum and has romantic counterparts just like the ace spectrum. or have you looked into platonic attraction? maybe, you would resonate with it.
i hope you can figure it out. know that there's no rush and you'll get there in time ❤️
you may also want to look into alterous attraction? i thought i was just heteromantic ace for the longest time until i realized that i do, in fact, experience attraction towards all genders but neither in a stereotypically sexual nor romantic way. good luck on your journey towards figuring this out and always remember that you are valid 💕
