My favorite part of august was the weather.
It got a bit cooler where I was. It was a great change from the scorching heat!
It’s getting closer to fall weather which I love
My favorite part of going back to school is seeing friends!
Also, I do feel it is!😊

Glad you were able to enjoy some cooler weather and the progression toward fall! Getting back to seeing friends is a great part of returning to school, even if you see them over the summer it's often not the same daily interaction that school provides.

Hey everyonee
My fav part of Aug was being able to go back to my parents home for a few days. Just being able to see my family after being so busy with work, seeing how my mom is doing so much better after starting her little crochet business was…just something I really needed.
as for work, I’ve just got laid off as I wasn’t able to meet company standards for a job I had wanted to do since I was a kid. Hoping this means there’ll be better things in store for me but for now it’s just job hunting.
Unfortunately, most if not all companies in my country aren’t safe or open to LGBTQ and my previous company wasn’t an exception. Networking is important for business, and yet I didn’t like talking to new people as I’d often experience distasteful conversations with men. Maybe the next place will have less people that make me feel that way, fingers crossed.
I wish I could speak up more whenever someone says something discriminatory against another gender that they don’t understand. If I can at least do that, if everyone could do that, maybe we’d slowly see changes and the discriminates will get the respect they deserve..

I'm glad that you were able to visit with your parents and see your mother doing well. I'm sure as you say you needed that.
Sorry to hear about the job loss, but I hope your hunting is going well and that you will find something that will be better for you going forward.
It is very unfortunate as you say, in many parts of the world there aren't places that are accepting. In a job where you have to have regular contact with new individuals I would imagine that sort of societal non-acceptance would be even more challenging.
It also can be hard to speak up against discrimination when we feel it may risk outing ourselves or hinder our own safety. But if more people were able to speak up and speak out against that kind of discrimination perhaps change would be faster and respect for all people could be normalized.

Thankfully for me I can expect more thing in my religion part too. I know God have plans for me.
