That’s right, June is here! In June we celebrate Pride and later this month it will be 54 years since the Stonewall Riots marked a monumental shift in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and acceptance. To learn more about the history of Pride month, here is a great thread on the topic.

It can be easy to get caught up in the celebration and fun that Pride often represents today, but there are still many who struggle, who don’t feel safe going to a Pride event or have any events that they can go to. So if you aren’t out, aren’t in the mood to celebrate, or don’t see that as even an option, Pride month can still be for you as well.
