LGBTQ+ Community Check-In: Week of Oct 23 - 29

Hello LGBTQ+/MOGII Support Community, it’s Ace-Week! That’s right this week we take a moment to recognize and acknowledge those who identify along the asexual spectrum! If you’d like to learn more about some asexual spectrum identities you can check out this thread!

We also mark Intersex Awareness Day this week on the 26th, highlighting human rights issues faced by intersex people, who are often forced into various medical interventions, and subjected to discrimination while also often being treated as though they don’t exist.

While it is important to make an effort to recognize the various identities and labels that are part of the LGBTQ+/MOGII Community, it’s also important to hear from each of you, so take a moment and check in?

• The end of October is rapidly approaching, how has the weather been for you this month? Do you usually enjoy October weather?

• As it’s Ace Week, do you identify along the asexual spectrum, or do you know anyone who does? How do you find that impacts your relationships? 

• So, intersex awareness day is this week, what is one thing you’d like to learn or share about being intersex?
