International Transgender Day of Visibility 2021!

Today, March 31st, is the international trans day of visibility. a day for our beloved trans men and women to be seen, and heard! it's a really important day for them today, and i wanted to say how proud i am to see that you are as well slowly being seen and understood more! you deserve it, after all 🥰

for this day, i'd also like to add something a bit more educational, as well;

what does the term 'transgender' mean?

transgender, is a term that can both be a specific and an umbrella term. In general, relates to people whose gender identity does not match what was assigned to them at birth. In specific usage, it can refer to people who identify as a binary gender which is different from what they were assigned to, such as male-to-female and female-to-male. Trans individuals may or may not undergo physical transition. (thanks a lot to @TaranWanderer for giving this amazing explanation!
