I really want to be a girl but everyday I wonder if it was meant to be. Why did I have to be born like this? Why did I have to be born into a family that doesn't support my transition? I am wanting to move out sometime in January so I can make a bit more money but god... I hate enduring. I've had to endure this heartache for the past 4 years.

@katie11037 I'm sorry you have to go through it, family should be a place of care and comfort, not a place of judgement and repression. You shouldn't have to hide who you are and pose as somebody else, doing it for such a long time has sure taken a toll on you, as it would with anyone. You are not weak, and you are not "wrong". The only thing that's wrong is not supporting a person who only wants to do something to feel and live better, something harmless, something that allows them to be their true self.
I'm glad you'll soon have the chance to make a living on your own, become more independent and have more space to express who you are. I know it's hard to wait until them, but you finally have a prospect for the future, you know you'll start building your own life and walk a path that will eventually lead you to live your life to the fullest. Small steps. In the meantime, never let anyone bring you donw. If you can, surround yourself with people who understand and support you. If you can't, hold on, that time is going to come one day. Stay strong. You deserve to find a way to live the life you want and deserve. I wish you all the best on your journey, and remember to reach out for support when it all feels too much!
