Self acceptance and finding my place if I have one in this world

Hi everyone, I'm new to this group. I'm hoping I can figure things out in my head and my heart, my life and if any of you could be if assistance I would greatly appreciate that. I struggled with acceptance of my identity my gender my entire life I'm not the typical man. Extremely sensitive and emotional and very in touch with my feminine side. That's who I wish I was born as. I have crossed dressed my entire life and the few people that know about it ashamed and ridiculed me horribly. I don't even feel like I have a place in this community I've tried to reach out before and I'm never welcomed. I am a submissive straight man Who Wants to Be a Woman and wants to be with a woman. I've tried men and that's just not my forte. But I'm a very submissive bottom. Is that why I'm not welcome am I too odd for this community

@understandingThinker2949 it's not about being odd! There's nothing wrong with being who you are and defying gender norms and stereotypes. The reason why you don't feel part of the LGBT community is simply that, despite defying gender norms, you are not LGBT in terms of gender or sexuality: you identify as a man, even if you wish you were born a woman, and you're attracted to women, which makes you straight.
However, I get that being a straight cis man that doesn't fit traditional gender roles can feel lonely and frustrating, since not everyone will understand your experience or accept who you are without judgement. Deconstructing gender norms is a journey that involves everyone, not just LGBT+ people: you are part of that journey too, just not as an LGBT person, but it doesn't mean you can't find acceptance or understanding. Building community with other crossdressers (straight, gay or else) can help you feeling less alone, and exchanging experiences with other can help you figuring out how to deal with your own.

@Aayla

Thank you. I've just been trying to find answers for myself to heal from so very much and my place in life, where I belong, if I belong. Ive been in such a dark lonely painful place lately and your words have helped me see myself differently and that I don't belong here in this community. Sorry for bothering you all
