Break Up
This is a kind of vent here so yeah.
So my girlfriend recently broke up with me. We had been together for 5 and half months or so and it was going but she started realising that she wasn't attracted to girls after all. We broke up. We were best friends before dating and kinda still are (I guess). I met her and things aren't awkward either but there's still this thing that's bothering me. I'm not exactly going through the whole heartbreak thing but I just feel kinda ***. I'm a rather idealistic fool who believes in 'the one' theory. I really felt like she was that. I kinda feel like just an experiment for her to test her sexuality. I know that's now the case but it's a bit hard to see it that way.

I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. It's really tough to experience a break-up, especially when it involves close friends and feelings of being just an experiment. It can take some time to process the whole thing. In the meantime, remember to look after yourself. 💜
Hello,
I guess that makes the both of us, in many aspects.
I also believe in the one, which I think makes us suffer more. I'm having a nasty breakup, my heart is broken to a point that I really don't see a way out. I'm hurting too much that life is a burden.
My relationship lasted almost 7 years. It was a cycle of morbid circumstances.
I'm a romantic I can't live without love, and each day day goes by is a token of torment and torture.
I'm determined to fight, for my life, but I'm dead inside.
@Angelwolf8930 i'm sorry that must have been hard :(
Update: I've been off 7cups for a while now so this update is super late but I wanted to add that my girlfriend figured out that she was indeed attracted to girls (cause she was questioning around the time of our break up) and we celebrated our one year anniversary in August. She is amazing and loves me for me. I've come to understand that love has it's ups and downs and that when someone truly loves you, they'll find a way to come back to you.
