Hi new to this, and opening up! Thought its about time.

Im 30 born male. Since i was young age i have always been interested in womens clothing/underwear, so ive always worn them on the sly, On top of this ive never really liked my genitals, have always felt like i should be ‘flat’ down there, use to tuck and tape my *** away, the only way i thought of to hide it.

im quite a muscular man, have been all my life had a manly body, i like my body but go through phases where i obssess about not having my ***! I just want to be more feminine. Im also bi curious as yet to bring myself to try what ive always wanted with men. Have always followed the ‘norm’ of being with a girl. Its all so confusing and getting to me lately,

Hope theres anyone who understands or feels the same? As im completely confused.

@Jamrollypolly

Hey there!

First off, just wanted to say that it's awesome to see that you've taken the step and reached out for help; that can't have been easy. While I can't comment on it personally as a cisgender person, I've had some transgender friends of mine describe their experience in life as being similar to yours, so it could be worth looking around at some LGBTQ+ resources to see what resonates with you?

I gathered some links to a couple of resources about gender identity and being transgender, and you could maybe take a peek at those, in case you find them helpful. In any case, I wish you luck on your journey, and hope things are going well for you 🫂

@Jamrollypolly Hey. Looks like we have some things in common. Take a deep breathe. Don't beat yourself up. I know it's a lot to think about, but it's good to embrace who you are :)

@Jamrollypolly I understand why this may all feel very confusing, but remember that gender is a socially constructed concept and you don't necessarily have to fit a "norm" or label yourself. You can give all of this any meaning you want. Maybe the term "non-binary" would fit you, or maybe you are simply a man that does not have a stereotypically "masculine" experience. Your gender is simply what you identify as, so don't be too hard on yourself and try on whatever label fits you best, if any at all. Your experience is valid as it is and no one should dictate how you identify as, that's up to you.
