Figuring It Out Story

This year has been a really important one for me. I figured my sexuality this year. I'm bisexual. I had been having really strong romantic feelings for one of my best friends. I kept shoving them away because a) there was no way in *** she liked me back b) I wasn't ready to deal with the fact that I liked girls too (I had even faked a crush on this popular guy to convince myself I was straight.

One day she comes up to me and says she likes me. I went on autopilot and just said the feelings weren't mutual. We decided to keep things friendly. The summer break was immediately after that. I spent the entire time thinking about her. On the first day back, I remember going f*** it and telling her everything. She's been my girlfriend since then. I know I can't come out yet because I once asked my parents what they thought about same gender attraction and they just gave me a lecture on how it was wrong but I feel so much better now that I can accept myself.
