Friend Problems
Help!
I have this friend who I think is a really amazing person, but sometimes she can make me really uncomfortable.
She can be so homophobic, and since I'm bisexual it makes me really uncomfortable. She acts like being gay is the biggest crime in the world, and I just don't want to be around her.
But I still want her to be my friend and I don't know what to do. Please help!!!
@JuliaEWriter you deserve friends who don't make you walk around them on eggshells or avoid walking around them too :(
how do you feel about telling her directly that her homophobic comments affect you and aren't acceptable at all? maybe help her understand why it is wrong and how it affects you and makes you not want to be around her
if she a good friend she'll likely understand and do better , I hope <3

When I tried to defend my cousin, who is in a relationship with another girl, she looke at me like I was crazy and she was like "I dont know how you even are so close with her."
