Hi, I'm currently in a relationship. Going on 8yrs actually, and I love my partner. Lately I've been feeling very down because she would like to have children, and I being a woman myself cannot help her achieve that. Makes me feel *** and useless.

It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of complex emotions surrounding the topic of having children with your partner. It's completely understandable to feel a range of emotions when facing such a significant life decision, especially when it involves personal aspects like fertility. Have you had a chance to discuss these feelings openly with your partner? Sharing your thoughts and concerns could help both of you better understand each other's perspectives and find ways to support each other through this process.

A lesbian couple CAN have children, using donated sperm.  Many men donate their sperm, ask your doctor about it.  That way it would truly be her child, and of course you would both parent them.

@KranialAktivity  Didn't know that.  The other thing you can do is adopt.  Forgot to mention that.
