Love is love?
I feel like this is true. Just not in some cases :/ Have you ever loved someone that you weren't supposed to? Well, I guess love is love (except in some cases)

i feel love alone is simple like we can love anyone and anything
what complicates things and makes love questionable sometimes is our expectations from that love :)
without any desires or expectations, love is always love
with expectations and desires, there might be many hurdles to cross to make that love a successful reciprocated love 😅

I'm not sure what cases would make up the exception, perhaps some of the things we at times call love but are really something else wearing the name of love?
Ultimately I do think that love is quite simply love, but how we express that love, and the expectations we have for that love can start to move away from that central ideal.
The last line you wrote really hits that " love is love " and yes sometimes we love someone who we weren't supposed to knowing we will receive it back but it's the just the way it is.
