My name
So, back in like March, I changed my name from Felicity to Brenyn. But recently ive started not caring if someone messes up and calls me Felicity, I kind of like it. So, I told my boyfriend today he can call me what ever he wants amd I plan on telling ym mom too. But I dont know if its like "fair" to everyone else though. Like you can call me whatever you want i dont care. But yeah.
@brenbird I can see why you might think it’s not fair to them, but if this is what makes you the most comfortable with yourself, then it should be their choice to support you. If they don’t, it is not your fault by any means, since you are still finding who you are in this world. Giving them a choice on what to call you is a simple thing to ask, since they can decide which they feel comfortable with, or which they feel connects to you more. In that aspect, by giving them that choice, it seems like you are actually making it fair to them, rather than unfair. Either way, they should be there to support you and what you decide makes you who you are!

@brenbird I personally love the name Felicity and think it's very beautiful, but I get it. It can be annoying, yet also amusing how people react when you tell them what name or nickname you prefer to go by. You really quickly see how they react. I notice how the people who care and don't care respond. It's an experience for sure. I like to be called Mattie cause it's feminine plus its really not that different from being called Matt honestly.
