It's not something to be ashamed about.

Sometimes it's just something pleasurable that people find a reassurance or excitement in.

We all go through stages of exploration, and once it's not harming us or anyone else, it's ok to find what we like and dislike 💖

I completely agree with that.  I am trying to change my mindset around it and be more kind to myself and enjoy the moment than being negative and being mean.  Any suggestions or ideas?

I am not worried about others. Really only worried about myself.

People seem to enjoy wearing all types of things. For their own reasons. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with it. Just that society will often try and force anybody different into the cultural norms. Unless they’re very open minded. I also think you can keep certain things to yourself. Especially if nobody’s getting hurt. Personally I don’t see the issue. But I am a lesbian. And I do have more of a preference toward more masculine presenting attire. I would likely enjoy dresses or skirts more if I could wear a thobe or a kilt style. And if I have makeup it’s clear. I’ll wear boxer briefs but I also don’t want the ones with a fly. And I tend to like bright and fun colors and floral prints even if the shirts or undies I get are from the men’s section of a store. I don’t feel there’s anything wrong. Nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed or guilty about because it isn’t wrong. BUT I share a house with elderly family at the moment and of course I’m not leaving my AXE brand deodorants or soaps around. And not throwing my certain clothing items into a clothes hamper where people can view. I guess what im trying to say is that it’s normal to feel shame. Because society makes us feel it. But it’s not necessary to be ashamed or embarrassed. But if you feel that way it’s also valid that you have those feelings. Maybe you can find some other guys like you to have some community and support with it. I do know of guys who wear women’s things. But at the end of the day it’s fabric just cut a certain way. And somebody said “men wear this and women wear that.” And expected everybody to want always follow that rule. But it’s a made up rule. I do wish you well in your struggles with it all. Sorry you have to be dealing with it. I wish people could just be who they are and comfortably wear what they like.
