is there anyone here who can help reassure me here? I’m 21, a trans guy (who keeps second guessing even though I’ve had this identity since 13). And I haven’t gotten on testosterone even though I’ve wanted to. I haven’t brought it up to my parents. They’re supportive, try pronouns and stuff. But they’re clearly hesitant of any “permanent” changes. If I brought it up I doubt they’d pay for it, and I don’t have the funds to pay for it myself. Is it too late. Will I not see the changes I want (voice drop mainly)? I’m seeing all these trans guys getting on testosterone at 16/17 and they’re now my age and look so, so different. They look how I wish I did. Does anyone relate?

I can see that you are going through so much right now, and it must feel so lonely and isolating and your parents might not know how to communicate effectively as to how they feel, because it's such a life hanging procedure, a d hard for them to understand how you feel. I hope that you get all the support you need here, and if anyone is going through the same, they might reach out to you 💜🥰
