Bisexual and Married with Children

After a very bumpy journey I have finally admitted to myself that I am Bisexual. I have been married to my husband for 17 years and we have two neurodiverse sons. Our marriage has had a number of ups and downs and most of my downs were due to ambivalence. Now, I am quite sure that my feelings stemmed from my struggle to accept that I was also attracted to women. I am quite terrified to talk with my husband about this. I’m looking for any advice, support from anyone in similar situations, and of course suggestions on next steps for me.

@Ambs5198 I'm sorry, it's a tough place to be in. I can get why you're afraid, but true love should imply trust. There's no reason why knowing about your sexuality would mean you don't love them anymore, or you want to cheat or whatever. That's just a prejudice against bisexuals, a quite common one I'm afraid, but if he truly loves you be should understand that it's important for you know who you truly are and understand yourself. By sharing this side of you with him you're already showing trust, because you could have just kept it from him, so why shouldn't he trust you?
I get that insecurities can kick in, but his insecurities are to be addressed and faced, not become the reason why you don't express yourself.
I've never been in this situation myself, though, so hopefully someone can step in with more practical advice on how to deal with this! Just remember, your sexuality is not something to be ashamed or afraid of, nor does it mean you're less trustworthy or committed in your relationship.
