Realizing Who I Am

I am 43 years old cys male, bi, sissy and married. So many freaking labels and tags its tiring. I am just me, I am sexual and i am open. My wife have been having this conversation about my identity for awhile and she had said maybe you are just gay. I know i am not gay because i have attraction to both women, men, and trans. I used to feel such shame and guilt about it but i do not any more. I believe my wife, cys female, believes i will be hurt by people ignorant of my lifestyle. i remember my response to her comment and I said i was not gay but that i am bisexual. She didn’t look surprised or sad or happy or anything. Maybe numb, since this is my story i feel like i should be able to be open about my identity but its hard too because being married i cant say im married and im bi but im faithful. Our world is too complicated!

Thank you. I dont have many friends that know me like this. I can’t help how I feel or who I am. I was texting a Pastor and then he just judges everything as sin. God is bigger than sin if thats the case right? I dont want to be fearful of how people will react.

@liquidfuse
Hey hey fuse <3
Firstly, I’m so very proud of you for realizing and coming to terms with your sexuality, for taking the courage to come out and to talk about that experience here as well… those lables can help you understand yourself better and find community but they do not define you and I get how they can be tiring, you are just you and that is great and enough
I can hear that you do love your wife and I think by being honest to her and coming out you’ve taken a hard but important step… her comment about being gay and then being numbed out can be a hard to handle response, this is not an easy time to go thru, not for you and not for your wife, but I believe in you to try your very best handling it.. the world is complicated, yeah, and unfortunately it’s not very accepting sometimes, but that doesn’t change the fact who you are is any less valid and nor does it mean you don’t have the right to be open about your identity either
Just a reminder~ You can be married, 100% faithful, feel love, care and affection to your wife, emotionally and sexually and still be bi
