@lavenderempress I wish I could do more to help you, but even if it's not much, I want to tell you that I see you and I wish you all the happiness you can get. You are who you are, and that should be valid and respected everywhere in the world. Not being able to be yourself and express your identity can take a huge toll on you, and I know it's more complicated than just "stay strong, it's ok to be who you are!", but if that's all I can offer, I will. You can come here anytime to find support and you'll get it from me and other people in this community. You have every right to express how you feel. Being LGBT+ is much more than what the Western community seems to realize, and your experience is as valid as everyone else's.

I'm sure there are also lots of queer people in your country in the same situation as you, just waiting for someone they can open up with, but it's up to you to judge whether it's safe or not to look for them through apps or other in-person community. Safety always comes first, and you're the best judge of what is or isn't worth the risk.
