My mom wants to drown in her own ignorance and I don’t want that (A metaphorical way to describe my moms stubbornness)

My mom being the religious Person she is, Would not listen to my explanation and rationale on How the Bible just mistranslated that Leviticus Chapter verse and refuse to Take in anything. Should I force her to Be more open minded by Making her sit down and listen to me talk about the science behind being LGBTQ everyday?

@comfortingreliability

Unfortunately, this is a very common conversation for many of us.

I don't think it's wise to try and force anyone to do anything. These things take time. I think the best thing you can do is just lead a very loving normal life. Hopefully with time she will continue to question her belief system and decide what's more important to her. You must consider the possibility that her mind will not change.

I am sorry you're feel frustrated and unheard. What happens when you tell her how you feel?

Keep in mind it's perfectly okay to set boundaries, even with our own parents and partners.
