Still okay to indentify as a lesbian?
Hello! For the past 4 years i have indentified as a lesbian since the only people i have felt attracted to have been women. But recently i started talking with an old friend who now indentifies as a nonbinary (female-leaning). We have been talking for a while and cerntainly have something between us. We have talked about going out and just about being in a realitionship together. If im attracted to them and to be in a realitionship with them, does that invalidate my lesbian indentity? I am still only attracted to women but now also to this one specific nonbinary person.

@Wertydot no I don't think it changes that tbh. But if you feel more comfortable there's probably another label for being attracted to feminine people that you might find more fitting (I don't remember what this is called but I'm pretty sure I have seen it before) but you're identity is still valid! If you feel like you identify as lesbian and not something else that doesn't invalidate you, if you're attracted to a specific person
Yes, nonbinary lesbians exist and it's okay to date a feminine nonbinary person as a lesbian.
