crush or just a really good friend?

i have a Very hard time differentiating between platonic and romantic feelings so if someone could help sort this out for me that would be RAD! there's this girl i've been friends with for a long time and adore her and feel i can truly be myself with her. having her in my life is so amazing. i want to be around her all the time and i want to be close to her i want to cuddle her i want to be in her arms. so many times we're together i think to myself "wow i really wish i could kiss her rn" i'm not going to actively try to try and intiate a relationship w her rn bc im quite an anxious person and very scared of rejection however if she were to initate i CERTAINLY wouldn't decline. this is romantic attraction right? ik it sounds like it should be obvious to me but i keep second guessing myself bc this is the first time i potentially have a crush while also being aware that what i'm feeling it a crush (baby gay right here).
