congrats on beating cancer man! but yeah, post-prostatectomy ED is very common because the nerves running next to the prostate get stretched or damaged during surgery. it can take 12 to 24 months for them to wake up.
You need to start "penile rehab" immediately... if you let the tissue stay flaccid for months without blood flow, you can get permanent shrinkage and fibrosis. don't wait around for the nerves to heal on their own.
