Daily Check-In Mindfulness October 19 to 21, 2026

In Europe, daylight saving time ends on Sunday, October 25, 2026, when clocks go back 1 hour. Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. and most of Canada finishes on the first Sunday of November, which will be November 1 in 2026. At 2:00 a.m. that morning, clocks are turned back by one hour, so you get an extra hour of sleep.

Has the time change ever messed up your usual wake-up time, and how long does it take for you to get back to normal?

It doesn't really make too much difference to me but I find if I don't stick to a proper sleep routine , I find it very hard to get back into it.

I have fought with insomnia my entire life. I do not feel that I ever recover... When is this going to end?

Not being able to sleep is rough! So sorry to hear that you're suffering from insomnia. It helps some people to do breathing exercises or progressive muscle relaxation at nighttime.

Only ever really noticed it on occasions I've had a particularly early start.

I don’t think it’s ever mess up my wake up time but it’s not like I ever kept notice so I could be wrong about that idk for sure honestly

Usually it’ll take a few days to a week to get back to normal
