How to Tame your Mind
Daily Check-In for November 24th to November 26th 2025
*** Happy Thanksgiving everyone for those who celebrate it ***
We at times do not have control of your mind when it wanders. You at time have your mind spinning out of control and do not know how to stop it. I sometimes call it the gerbil is on the spinning wheel running crazy.
When your mind wonders it sometimes doubt ourselves, have trouble dealing with our emotions, but it does not have to be that way where we leave it like that. We learn how to manage the mind to slow it down to a normal state of mind.
Here are some ways to manage your uncontrolled mind:
Think differently: Sit and think of the worst scenarrio. What is the worst thing that can happen. You begin to think of how bad it can become. Set a time where you can work out the scenario's and work it out. This will help you put aside for a bit the problem and handle it better when you can think clearly.
Believe in yourself that you can change: If you believe in yourself and have the confidence to change, it will happen. You need postive affirmations that the wondering thoughts will be handled properly. Your subconscious mind where you store your feelings are recorded in a comfort zone, providing safety and confidence.
Be optimistic in your abilities: Being optimistic in your mind is the key to succeed and control the racing thoughts. You need to tell your mind even at that point you will get over what is in your mind, so you may continue on in life.
Stop overgeneralizing it: This means to take a single or negative experience and put it into a positive affirmation. Take it upon yourself to change it so you can procceed with your life. You need hard work and persistence to make the change.
Advoid personalization: Take responsibility for the racing mind your having. Tell yourself you can over come this with a little work and that things will be okay. Tell yourself if something happens to someone else it is not your fault.

There are alot of other ways to tame your mind. You need to find the right ones, so there always there to go to when it may happen again

This is incredibly helpful!
I quickly change my mindset, don't jump to worse case scenario and when I feel my mind wandering, cut it off fast and listen to music 💖
Learning how to tame your mind and stay in balance with yourself is a big, if not massive job. You can’t just suddenly become a mindful person who gets themselves and their own psychology. By the way, what is mindfulness anyway? Probably everyone sees it differently, but for me it’s when you understand everything that’s happening to you and you can actually do something about it, instead of just sitting there in growing panic or confusion.
