Mindfulness Check-In October 9, 2023

For many of us, perhaps the hardest thing of all is to believe that "I am a good person."
- Do you recognize the goodness in what you do - your acts - your thoughts and the compassion you show others?
- What makes you or could make you feel like a good person?
@amiablePeace77
Great question. Over the last 6 years, I have worked very hard on my mental health, and have become a therapist. I feel like a good person because my mental health is in a good place, and I get to help others with theirs. 😊
@amiablePeace77 I don't know what others feel for me currently but somehow i just know that I am a good person who is there when people need me and I believe being there for the person, specially when someone needs you, is a big thing.
Also, I am working upon myself to become better in general🌸

I can relate to you with what you said about being there for another person when they need help. Facing challenges without support is usually very hard so being there for another person is the best gift we can give and feeling that we could give them a moment of peace is the best gift we can get.
@amiablePeace77 exactly what I was trying to put out
I wouldn't care if I was a good person or not
I don't see how it is relevant
If you judge yourself you will never be happy
I am human, that's it
Humans aren't good or bad in essence - they are simply human
It's no coincidence that history is full of war and suffering. It's also full of kindness and joy
All these things are part of what a human is
