Finding My Balance
Updates: (corrected by chatgpt for clearer message )
It’s been hard for me to balance things lately. I tend to dedicate more time to new or exciting activities, like learning Chinese. For example, when I go to the gym, I sometimes use ChatGPT to practice Chinese or review my organized notes in between sets. The phone adds an addictive factor, and learning Chinese while at the gym makes my routines longer and causes me to lose focus on the gym.
I’m trying to have at least a few social encounters each week to practice social skills in a focused way—through chat activities, language meetups, or other events—but I prefer chat-oriented activities.
Overall, I’m working on balancing everything. I’m lucky that my family helps me financially, but eventually I’ll need to allocate time to earning money. Having a lot of free time makes it easy to be unorganized and not value time as much.
The point is to try to balance things without indulging only in pleasurable activities. I want to set goals and maintain a steady lifestyle where I can:
-
Start earning money
-
Travel
-
Have social activities and a dating life
-
Practice sports, languages, and arts
…without getting lost in any one thing.
