What makes a person bad? And what makes a person good?

Helping tiny learn ❤

There are a million different types of people in this world, all with their own values, views, outlooks. So what makes a good person turn bad?.... Is hate easier than love? Can a child really  be bad?  Is it greed, money, power, selfish reasons, that turns a person bad... And what about those who want to be good? Those who love for no reason, who give simply to give? ... Can you really class anyone as pure evil?? .. Is the law doing a good job at protecting the good and dealing with the bad?

@Tinywhisper11 Whether someone is considered "good" or "bad", at the end of the day we are all sinful people. As humans, we all have the potential for good and bad. We have fairly "good" people who make bad decisions but does that make them any less? I don't believe it's cut and dry like that. Your definition of good or bad may be different from mine. And even when we try our best to choose goodness, sometimes we still fall short and do or say things we may not be proud of. That just comes with us all be sinners. I know people like to say it doesn't matter or that a sin is a sin but there's different levels of "bad". Sometimes people do things to people that one can never even imagine or comprehend, there's a special place for them. Those are considered bad people to me. Then we have the mother who's out here stealing diapers and food to feed her baby. Stealing is "bad" yet I wouldn't label her as such. What's the person's intention? What's in their heart? As far as is there really a thing as bad kids, I'm iffy. My instinct is to say yes... but then deep down, I know that often times troubled kids are really hurt kids who grow up into adults who hurt people. They may have been abused or lacked the love they needed, whatever the reason, the cycle didn't break. That's not true for all though and it's no excuse for hurting others. I believe we have to continually make the daily decision to choose good for the day as that requires the most effort. It's so easy to do bad, but that doesn't mean we stop trying.

@TheGeminiInMe 🤔🤔 yes there's a lot to think about there. I guess you can be good but have to act bad for the good reasons🤔🤔and I agree, you can't use the excuse I was hurt, so I hurt others. Thanks for answering my question ❤ gives you a giant tiny hug ❤

@Tinywhisper11

There is no one answer.... people just like labels  IMO to make them feel comfortable.

There are people who do bad even horrible things but they are also capable to do good.... people who normally only do Good things are capable to do bad things as well.   The difference is choosing to act.

Good and bad is subjective depending on others views and beliefs as well... it is hard to define... just like  defining who is attractive because that varies by person's perspective as well.

@Tinywhisper11 These are some really deep questions. I'm not really sure if there is a simple answer though. I think maybe some of it has to do with what people are taught growing up and the examples they're given. Some it I think has to do with choices they make. I think sometimes people go through things that make them angry and bitter and they vow that they'll never let themselves get into that place again. They justify their behavior as a way of protecting themselves

Can you class someone as pure evil? Yes I do think that there are some people who can be classed this way. People who hurt others for gain or just for their own enjoyment because I do think on some level everyone is aware of the pain that they're causing people and they simply don't care

As for the law - I think the law needs to do better at protecting the innocent. There are too many instances of people getting away with things because of their position and the power they hold
These are just my thoughts on it

@mytwistedsoul I agree, to many people get hurt, and it seems like the law looks the other way sometimes😥 it's scary to know everyone is capable of doing bad, but I'm glad the good in people normally control the choices we make. Thanks for sharing your opinion ❤❤ I love you ❤

@Tinywhisper11 Identifying someone as good or bad is just a label. People use labels to aid their comprehension of a situation or person. However, it really doesn’t help with Identity or self-esteem. In the long run there are only choices or decisions. Each decision has a consequence to it. Cause and effect. That consequence can be a positive one or a negative one. Based on societal norms and ethics these consequences can have a huge impact or a result that is mild. The choices someone makes can either create a satisfying life, or one filled with judgement and challenges. leaving an individual Constantly having to learn under the premise of trial and error.

@coolvibes oh ok!🤔🤔 so we shouldn't judge others based on past choices, and to give everyone a second chance🤔🤔

Theese answers have given me a lot to think about  ❤ Thank you for sharing your thoughts ❤

@Tinywhisper11 if someone has a pattern of making poor choices you have a right to not include the outcome of those poor choices in you’re life. You can steer clear of the impact their choices have and still wish them well.

I can share my experience. Growing up i wanted to be good at any cost. I won't lie or not even hurt another even by words . Then i went through a bad situation, where i have to lie to save my self and I wanted to hurt that person,if by words atleast. Now i think being good sometimes is a privilege. Ultimately we have the responsibility to protect ourselves, that matter a lot while making our decision.

@helpfulKiwi4855 yes defining good and bad is not always easy. I think when we do small bad things to protect ourselves and loved ones, but ultimately only want to show the world we are good people, then maybe that's ok ❤ our great in the right place, just sometimes gotta survive too ❤ I hope your in a safe place now? Thankyou for your answer and honesty to my question ❤ hugs you tightly ❤

@Tinywhisper11 I feel it has something to do with one's upbringing, but not always. Sometimes, children who enter adulthood do a better job at raising a family, then their own parents did. But on the other hand, sometimes their parents did a better job at raising them. Look at how many grandparents today are being parents again, and some not by choice. And in some cases, their children's parents are not fit to raise their own children. There are a lot of reasons, for this. I hope this helps to answer some of your questions.

@calmMango9611 I agree I think family/parents have the biggest impact on a child, and how they view the world. Although many other factors come into this. But yeah that's not always the case. There are far to many children not being looked after properly, but still when that child grows up they have a choice to make. Good or evil. I hope most choose good ❤❤ thanks for answering my question ❤❤ I love you ❤
