disconnection and personal bubbles.

See no evil, hear no evil sees no evil. We live in a time when phones had taken over our lives, I went to see my mom at her house, my brother with her wife and her 2 kids. Me and my niece were drawing while eating on the table, I admit this is my escape of reality and while enjoying having a connection with someone, but my nephew was a whole different story, his head was possessed by the phone, a more clear cut escape from reality. This is a super common trend in society, phones become personal bubbles, alienating us from each other.  People become worst which each passing generation, the invention of the phones has been the worst invention in history so far alongside with computers. Tough a tool is just a tool a tool is not good or bad, but how its used. Regardless of all the cute talking, when I am beginning to be more awake in certain parts of my life is the part were I feel more alone than ever and especially having difficulty trusting people. Though at times i think i feel less alone being alone in complete silence and complete isolation than among people who`s minds and spirit is snatch by dammed devices.

thanks for reading

done :)

@okeyyyy

I do completely think that moderation is key and people need to start putting their phones down for more true family presence.

@Amanda84  it would be good if people teach in school how to behave with phones, but ... well yes, phones are like parasite that takes over the host giving them endless entertainment and escape on which ever thing they want, there will come a time when people will just use google glasses or some virtual minimal headgear or device in to go to virtual worlds to escape current situation.

The problem as i see it is : 1 the person using this device sees the meeting as a chore probably or anxiety, or stressed or something that he/ she dislikes, so plunges itself into a world of fantasy. I was drawing, and my niece too, so my brother allowed at the end my nephew to keep on ruining himself with the device, point and case felt like noone care for each other, so gathering to not gathering,

@okeyyyy

I totally feel you on this. There has now been a whole generation that was raised on devices. It is all they know. Soon it will be all that anyone alive has known. Things used to be different, much more simple. People paid attention to each other more. Now everyone is distracted, trained to have short attention spans and need immediate gratification. There was a really great song made about this, by the band A Perfect Circle.  I hope you find it helpful and relatable.

@Nightowl01 as newer decives come along when phones become obsolete and devices integrated to the body come along, imagine having an implant in your body that has all the features of a phone and 10.000 more? yes, and how people feel like kids who cry when they dont have their pacifier. This is one of the reasons movie quality has gone down, in hollywood are like noone cares, make the movie whatever, just get enough material to keep on watching, nobody cares for quality anymore, they just want more sugar candy, and people spitting utter nonsense.

@Nightowl01 thanks for the music, it really shows how people are in these times so unplugged to reality, basically like little kids hiding their head under the sand to escape life and is impacting society in a very bad way, since people dont seam to care about others, turning everyone into save yourself kinda scenario, making people struggle in very simple things which used to be so easy to fix but now simple things become complex ones. such a tragic.
