This is a nice stroll down memory lane.
I smile thinking about baking Christmas cookies with my maternal Grandma (no longer alive) and cousins.
I smile when I think about spending time dusting my paternal Grandfather's office for a few dollars or taking my Grandmother out to lunch.
I smile thinking about my eldest daughter (almost 13) who laughed as a baby at a certain sound.
I smile thinking about getting married, having each of my daughters, moving to different countries, seeing sloths and sea turtles in French Guiana, living in France, trying to speak French, and the list goes on.
I smile thinking about so many things. Very nice exercise.

A memory that makes me smile: 
Going hunting with my father, just him and I, when I was about 4 yrs old. He had been working to teach me to drive the bronco (back in the 60's). He had even taught me how to slide down the drivrer's seat, to get my feet in the floor board as far as the petals were.
One hunting trip, he opened a big gate, and said, "Amy, drive through it nice and slow just like I have taught you." I did it. Then, I stopped, he closed the gate behind us, and we went onward. I loved my father so much and have missed him so much. I do have lots of good memories of doing nice things with him.
A memory that makes me smile: I have twin nephews who, with this pandemic, I haven't gotten to be around for about a year, & recently have gotten to hug them. The Saturday before Easter, I picked them up from their house, brought them over to my house, & they helped me make some homemade cinnamon rolls (that they gushed about that they LOVE so much) for Easter brunch, then I made them dinner & brought them home, then hung out with them on Easter.
A memory that made me smile: When I found the first group of people that made me comfortable and I was able to be myself without worrying.
I have plenty, but currently reminiscing on the birth of my kids as we consider planning for our third.
The time I saw real snow for the first time during my school trip!
I have this memory from like 11 years ago, when in primary school the teachers and students basically just played a bunch of games together in the school yard. It was completely unplanned but so much fun and it always makes me smile. It's my favourite childhood memory 😊
