Celebrating Earth Day Aprill 22, 2020
Hello everyone 
Today we are celebrating Earth Day.
Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, it now includes events coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network in more than 193 countries.
The topic of this years Earth Day is Climate Action.
I like to thank everyone for their contributions in helping to make a layout for an environmentally friendly town in the previous post.
Now its time to start finish everything like houses, planting the gardens and and and. So I like to ask you to say what you would like to add. I will start making my suggestions with the first post to this one so that you can see what I mean and hope some of you will follow 
. The outside temperature will be between 20 degree C (68 F) and 32 degree C (89.6 F), moderate rainfall.
Houses - Solar heat and water, recycle gray water
Lighting of streets - LCD lights
Community Center - Have activities and exercises and Tai Chi

Houses: Healthy cookware in the kitchen, no ceramic which contains lead
Vegetable Garden: chinese cabbage, swiss chart, spinach (dark green leavy vegetables protect cells from free-radical damage)
Forest: Moringa Trees, leaves and very young pods (beans) are edible, many health benefits and trees tolerate higher winds and draughts
@amiablePeace77 Recycling: Give one time plastics a new life by upcycling it into something new. Turn bottles into vertical gardens, turn plastic caps into custom magnets, turn plastic mint containers into a pill box or ear bud holders, etc. (Or even better, reduce single use plastic by using reusable bottles, reusable shopping bags, switch out sandwhich bags for cloth wraps, etc)

Wow, wow, wow, these are amazing ideas. What do you mean with turn bottles into vertical gardens, like filling bottles with soil and growing smaller plants in them? (after cutting off top)
@amiablePeace77 Exactly like that :) I keep a few bottles near the window in my kitchen to grow some fresh herbs for cooking. But they can also be placed outside or around the house near sunlight.

@amiablePeace77 we are signed up to be a part of planting many trees over the summer. Also a good time to do some needed trash clean up

Rumple, that's wonderful. Trees benefit us so much in many ways, not only as oxygen producer but also help to reduce greenhouse gases, prevent erosion, offer homes to many animals and and and.
Plenty of open space for us to share space with local animals and plants in the environment.
communities that support natural lawns with dandelions that are cancer fighting, versus manicured artificially "green-looking" lawns filled with chemicals not safe for kids and animals (or adults), and that heavily use resources like gas in cutting lawns.

I hear you, we need to provide a healthy environment for our kids and for all other living beings, we are all a family. In my country of birth some people used to eat the Dandelion leaves sometimes (before they bloomed), they are good plants to have.

Thanks so much for your kind words! Really appreciate it! A lot of people find it an eyesore or aesthetically unappealing. We lived some place where the lawns were covered in pesticides, and inundated with chemicals to make them green. Tons of animals- the bunnies, the birds, the bees, the toads, and even the snakes would be found munching on our lawn lol.... I guess they prefer to eat organic too!
