Mindfulness Daily Check-In September 26, 2017

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing alright. For some parts of the world, nights are getting longer and longer. While for others, days might be getting longer instead. One could be more mindful of nature by looking at the changing of leaves or by the stars. It can be a calming exercise and can help to remind you of the beauty of the universe. Do you use observing nature as a form of mindfulness? If so, what part of nature do you observe, and how does it help you?

HIya Pumpkie
Good check-in for today. I love being observant of Fall changing the trees and stuff. Love all the different colors the leaves change into. I however notice my moods changing as everyone knows the beauty in nature "goes to bed" during fall/winter. So no more pretty flowers. No more awesome flower smelss. No more pretty summer ornaments out in lawns. So being mindful of this and trying to find something also I can enjoy in Fall and winter is my focus for mindfulness.

In my country summer is starting to show its warmth. Summer it the time when I am most alive. The smell of fresh morning air birds singing early morning and the best part is when the sun wakes me up with a gentle stroke of its warmth on my face. There are flowers everywhere and I feel for of energy to start my day.
@wonderfulPumpkin71 I saw a beautiful sight as the sun had just set and it was twilight with a few clouds in the sky and a sliver of the moon. It was so beautiful as if I was in a Planetarium. It is difficult to describe but I was focused on that and not other things.

Hello Pumpkin
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing alright. For some parts of the world, nights are getting longer and longer. While for others, days might be getting longer instead. One could be more mindful of nature by looking at the changing of leaves or by the stars. It can be a calming exercise and can help to remind you of the beauty of the universe. D
Do you use observing nature as a form of mindfulness?
Yes I do.
If so, what part of nature do you observe, and how does it help you?
I enjoy looking at the leaves falling and the changing colors is just beautiful. It helps me to think just as the leaves fall, winter comes and all plants die, and they come alive again I the spring, I also no matter how much sad I feel right now, I will cheer up one day.☺
